There's a phrase I hear on almost every site visit: they bought the good stuff. Most of the time, that means a recognizable brand and a higher line item. It doesn't mean the safety outcome was verified. I get paid to check that gap.
I'm a quality and brand compliance manager at a fire-and-safety supplier. In a normal year I review over 200 unique product deliveries before they reach customers.
